  Overview

Park City Mountain Resort is located about 45 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport. The mountain summits at a height of 10,000 feet, with a base elevation of 6,900 feet and is comprised of 3,300 acres of terrain spread over seven peaks, with 100 runs for all possible skill levels, eight bowls, a terrain park and halfpipe as well. Park City Mountain receives an average 350 inches of snow per year.

Park City Mountain Resort is conveniently connected with downtown Park City via the Town Lift, where people can virtually step off Main Street, hop on the lift, and be at the summit within minutes, and vice verse. Downtown Park City offers some of the best shopping, dining and nightlife of any ski town in the country. Once a silver mining town, Park City today offers a wide array of restaurants, bars and nightclubs, galleries, live theaters, cinemas, bookstores and coffee houses. It is also homebase for the famous Sundance Film Festival.

In addition to being connected with downtown Park City, the resort has recently completed a $35 million renovation and upgrade project, adding new facilities and retrofitting older ones. Some of the resort’s improvements include more six-passenger high-speed lifts than any other resort in the U.S., the new deluxe Legacy Lodge, a halfpipe, the Sitka Super Play Park and public Mountain Cross course, to name a few.

Park City Mountain resort provides a variety of dining choices. In addition to the food-court-style dining of the new Legacy Lodge, the resort offers the Summit Smoke House and Grill, Snow Hut, the historic Mid-Mountain Lodge, and the quick-stop Skiosk. Cuisine ranges from snacks to gourmet meals. The resort also features five distinct shops and centers, an accredited ski school with programs for all ages, mountain adventure programs, a children’s learning center, public racecourses, and more. The resort offers a slew of summer activities as well, ranging from horseback riding to golf to hot-air ballooning.
