Overview
SOLITUDE’S SNOWSPORT SKI SCHOOL
 Skiing and snowboarding are critical for first-timers or anyone hoping to improve their technique. With an easy “one-stop shopping” approach where tickets, registration and rentals are in one location, Solitude Mountain Resort offers programs for all levels, from true beginners to powder novices to race classes. Moreover, Solitude is the only resort in Utah with alpine, Nordic, telemark and snowboarding lessons all on the same mountain.
Below we have listed the current rates and schedules of the Solitude Mountain Resort Ski School. For additional information, or to register for private lessons, call (801) 536-5730 or visit www.skisolitude.com. Early registration for group lessons during holidays is encouraged.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons, customized for every age and ability are available by appointment. Prices are by the total number of persons per lesson.
ADULT GROUP LESSONS
Solitude’s adult group lessons are for all ability levels. Each lesson is designed to be enjoyable and rewarding. Prices are per person, and do not include lift tickets unless otherwise noted. Reservations recommended. All group lessons require a two-person minimum to receive the full two hours. For Group Lessons with only one person, Half-Day Lessons will run one hour and All-Day Lessons will run two hours.
Learn to Ski & Snowboard Workshop
Classes run from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., or 1:15 p.m. to 3:15p.m. Includes a two-hour lesson, all day Beginner Lifts ticket and rental. Price: $75
All-Day Group lesson (10:15 am, to 3:15 p.m.) Price: $60
Half-Day Group Lesson (10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., or 1:15p.m. to 3:15 p.m.) Price: $40
5-Day Package includes five All-Day lessons. Price: $275
MOONBEAM SKI AND SNOWBOARD ACADEMY FOR KIDS
This specially designed learning program combines outdoor recreation with the chance to acquire lifetime skills in skiing and snowboarding. Children have specially designated beginner terrain and a roped off area of the mountain. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Minimum age for group snowboarding lessons is
seven.
All-day children’s program (ages four 10 12 years) $70, 10:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.,
includes group lesson, lift ticket, lunch and adult supervision.
Kids Learn-to-Ski Workshop $80 10:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. includes all-day lesson, lift ticket, lunch and rental.
Half-day program $45 Afternoon only
One-on-one lessons $50 One Hour
Skiing lessons for kids under four and snowboard lessons for ages four to seven
Three-day package $195 10:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Five-day package $300 10:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Package prices include all-day lessons, lift tickets and lunches.
SOLITUDE’S NORDIC PROGRAMS
Solitude Mountain Resort offers Utah’s oldest and most scenic cross-country ski area. Located at 8,700 feet, it provides a spectacular setting with more than 20 km of superbly prepared trails available to explore by skis or snowshoes. Nordic Group Workshops
Nordic Group Workshops are for skiers of all ages and abilities. Prices are per person and include a trail pass unless otherwise poled. All workshops require a minimum of three participants and meet at the Solitude Nordic Center.
Classical or Skating Workshops
All Ability Levels (10 am. to noon, or 1 to 3 p.m.)$40
Learn to Cross Country Ski Workshop Classical or Skating $45(includes a 2-hour lesson, all-day trail pass and ski rental)
Women’s Workshops— Classical or Skating $35
Note: Women’s Workshops meet Wednesdays only.
Private Lessons-- Customized for every age and ability and arranged by appointment. Prices are per person, per lesson and include an all-day trail pass.
One Hour Lesson — Classical or Skating, 1 person $ 40
Each additional person (up to three) is $20 per person.

With the exception of snowshoes, all prices include cross-country skis, boots and poles. Telemark equipment is not available.
