  Overview

Snowbird offers a wide array of dining choices, ranging from ski-in/ski-out restaurants, to general stores, to fine dining overlooking the mountain.

Perhaps the resort’s premier dining establishment is the Aerie Restaurant, located in the Cliff Lodge. Aerie offers creative cuisine with a European flair and a panoramic view from atop the lodge. Also in the Cliff Lodge is the Summit Sushi Bar, located adjacent to the Cliff Spa. The Summit Sushi Bar offers fresh made-to-order sushi with a mountain view. The Cliff’s Keyhole Junction serves Southwestern cuisine, including enchiladas, Southwestern marinated salmon and four types of fajitas, while 19 different tequilas serve to warm the spirits. The Atrium Restaurant at the base of the Cliff Lodge offers an eleven story glassed space and serves quick continental breakfasts, a la carte lunches and après ski snacks, pastries and drinks.

Atop the mountain is the Forklift, which offers casual dining for breakfast or lunch. Nestled in the pines across from the tram dock, the Forklift offers hearty American fare within three glass walls, which serves for an amazing view of the mountains. Wildflower Ristorante, located in Boslam Lodge specializes in authentic Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary flair -- complimented by an Italian wine list and an expansive view of the mountain. The Steak Pit has been a favorite Snowbird eatery for nearly 30 years, offering top quality steaks, seafood, chicken, fish, pork and lamb. The Lodge Bistro is a simple yet elegant glass conservatory with a varied menu and large wine selection.

Among the many sit-down restaurants at Snowbird is a swath of café-style eateries. Rendezvous in the Snowbird Center is a convenient spot for lunch, featuring a large salad bar. Mid Gad Restaurant, situated mountainside, specializes in burgers, pizza salad and chili in a bread bowl (vegetarian too). Superior Snacks, located poolside on Level 3, also serves up pizza, hot dogs, sandwiches and more. For a taste of gourmet coffee or a quick sandwich, head over to Birdfeeder, located across from the tram on the Plaza Deck. And Pier 49 San Francisco Sourdough Pizza in the Snowbird Center serves lunch and dinner, offering pizza by the slice or whole.

For the sweet tooth in you, there’s the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, serving chocolates, candies, cookies and other such treats. And for the money-saver in you, the General Gritts general store is stocked with an ample selection of groceries and convenience items, complete with a deli counter in the back.
