Overview
Two of the largest indoor shopping malls in the country are located a crosswalk away from each other in downtown Salt Lake City, creating a shopper’s paradise that will deplete both your wallet and your energy. The two shopping Meccas sit side by side, across from Temple Square.
You’ll find 140 shops, two department stores, an arcade, a theater complex and 21 fast food restaurants at Crossroads Plaza, and three levels of shops and restaurants in the ZCMI Center. The mall’s namesake and largest retail outlet the ZCMI department store, was founded by Brigham Young, Utah colonizer and President of the Mormon Church, and is widely regarded as the country’s first department store.
Art collectors will enjoy browsing through 15 art galleries located in the area containing work by national and internationally known artists.
